Requirements to obtain a tourist visa: The following has to be presented by you to us or has to be sent to us for the obtainment of a tourist visa: A) A passport with validity not less than 6 months and contain at least one completely empty visa page. B) one application form, filled in and signed by you. Please always fill in your telephone number; C) Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full) D) 2 equal, recent photographs (black-white or colour); E) the price of € 30,- per entry. - Consular officers reserve all rights to request for additional documents as deemed necessary F) in the event you arrange the application by registered mail, also enclose a return envelop with your own address on it and stamps on it, in the value of €7,00. In this envelop, the passport will be returned to you by registered mail. The Consulate shall not be liable in case the registered letter, or the contents thereof, are lost or for the issuance of the visa. See also "Disclaimers". You have 3 months after the issuance date of the visa to travel to Thailand. As of the day of arrival in Thailand, you can stay there for 60 days including the day of arrival and departure. As soon as you leave the country, the visa becomes void. It is also possible to arrange a visa for more visits than one in one time. You will then have a margin of 6 months to use these visits (entries). A double entry costs € 60,- and a triple entry costs € 90,-. You can also apply for the visa in person at the Consulate. We are open from 10.00 – 13.00 hours, from Monday through Friday. In the event you do not stay longer than 30 days in Thailand, including the day of arrival and departure and you have booked a return flight within 30 days, including the day of arrival and departure, you do not need a visa. In the event you have booked a one-way ticket of an open ticket you always need a visa. Do not forget the stamped return envelop, in the event you arrange your visa application by registered mail. Perhaps you can add a note with your phone number on it. The handling of the application by mail takes about five working days. Always also fill in your telephone number; C)Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full) D) 2 equal, recent pass photos (black-white or colour); E) the costs for a single non-immigrant visa amount to € 50,-; E) 1. for a work / non-immigrant visa: letter of employer, 2. for a family / non-immigrant visa: copy marriage deed, 3. for a study / non-immigrant visa: study declaration, 4. for a retirement / non-immigrant visa: evidence of retirement, 5. for a training/apprenticeship / non-immigrant visa: letter of the institution where the training/apprenticeship will be carried out. The visa is valid for a stay of a maximum of 90 days in Thailand taking into account the day of arrival and departure. Within 3 months after the date of issuance of the visa, you will have to visit Thailand. You can also apply for a visa for more than one visit (entries). You will then have the opportunity to use these entries during one year, including the date of issuance. Every time you arrive in Thailand, you will then be able to stay 90 days taking into account the day of arrival and departure. The costs of a multiple visa are € 120,-.
